Purley window and patio-door glass replacement

A broken patio-door panel does not automatically mean the entire door needs replacing. If the frame, track and fittings remain suitable, the glass can sometimes be replaced separately. Double-glazed panels are sealed units and need the correct overall thickness, dimensions and safety specification. We assess those details before ordering.

Tell us about access before the visit

For properties around Purley town centre, mention parking or loading restrictions and whether an entrance faces a busy pavement. For a flat, give the floor and building-entry instructions. For a rear patio door, describe the route from the road to the garden. Do not move a damaged panel or force a sliding door to make access easier.

Choose the right glazing service

My patio door is hard to move but the glass is intact. Is that an emergency glazing job?

It may be a hardware or alignment issue rather than a glass replacement. Tell us whether the door locks, how it moves and whether the glass is damaged. We can discuss the appropriate service without assuming that new glass will fix the problem.

What if my double glazing is misted?

Condensation trapped between panes is different from surface condensation and may indicate a failed sealed unit. If the opening is intact and secure, arrange an assessment for replacement rather than treating it as an immediate boarding-up emergency.

How quickly can you attend?

Call for current availability and an estimated arrival time. Traffic, existing jobs and access affect attendance.

Is there a local branch I can visit?

This is a mobile service-area page, not a walk-in branch. We arrange visits to customer properties. Keep people and pets away from loose glass while waiting, and do not attempt to remove damaged panels yourself.

Purley and Kenley both have CR8 addresses. For a damaged patio door, tell us whether the garden can be reached without carrying the replacement through the house. For a flat near the town centre, include the floor, entry-phone arrangements and any loading restrictions.
